CASI is proud to announce the Interski Team who will represent the association in Finland in March 2023! Interski is a great opportunity for CASI to share snowboarding instruction knowledge and techniques with the other existing associations in the world. Our Interski Team will be presenting workshops and attending other countries’ presentations.
CASI is taking part in this event with the desire to always evolve and offer its members the best in terms of certification’s course contents and quality standards. We’ve asked the Interski Team members some questions to learn more about them…

‘There’s no rights and wrongs in snowboarding, just actions and consequences.’
What’s exciting you the most about Interski in Finland?
I can’t wait to add to my collection of ‘stolen’ international techniques!

What is the “mantra” or “quote” you often repeat to your students when you teach snowboarding?
I refer back to CASI: with five skills and many skill components I can create a personalized mantra for each student, candidate or situation.
What’s exciting you the most about Interski in Finland?
Connecting with other snowsports educators and bringing these ideas back to the CASI membership for interest and future growth. Proudly representing CASI and Canadian methodologies on the international stage.

Be like water, move with terrain not against.
What’s exciting you the most about Interski in Finland?
Sauna time!!!!! But honestly just having the privilege to be around and learn from people that love snowboarding as much as me.
