New for 2023-24!

RESORT SUPPORT PILOT PROGRAM

The CASI Resort Support Pilot Program (RSPP) has been developed to support our key supporters – the snow schools and instructors providing lessons every day at your resorts.

What is the RSPP?

The RSPP provides resorts with a couple key recruiting and training initiatives designed to accomplish a few main objectives:

  • Encourage, support and value instructors working in the industry
  • Help snow schools train and recruit returning and experienced staff
  • Reduce financial barriers for new instructors getting certified, or working instructors furthering certifications
  • Ensure that a healthy partnership continues to exist between CASI and the resorts

To do this, the RSPP offers two main avenues to snow school managers and directors:

1) Course Discount Codes

CASI will provide resorts and snow schools with a pre-determined quantity of course discount codes. These can be used by both new and experienced instructors within your team, as a means of reducing the financial barrier that achieving certifications may pose.

Discount codes are valid for 40% off the cost of a CASI certification program at any location during the 2023-24 season.

RSPP discount codes may be applied to the following programs:

  • Level 1 Instructor Course
  • Level 2 Instructor Course
  • Level 3 Instructor Course
  • Level 3 Instructor Exams
  • Level 4 Training Modules (Teaching, Riding, Pedagogy)
  • Level 4 Exams
  • Park 1 Instructor
  • Park 2 Instructor
  • Member Sessions
How does it work?

Discount codes are single-use codes to be provided by CASI to snow school managers to be given to qualifying resort staff members prior to registering in a CASI program. Instructors can input the discount code at the time of registration and receive a discount of 40% on the course fee. Codes are not valid for use on re-test days (in the case of Level 1, Level 2, Park 1 & 2 courses).

Does the code need to be used on a course at my resort?

No! Discount codes may be used on any regularly scheduled qualifying course or program (see list above), regardless of the location.

What if I run out of codes?

As this is a pilot program for the 2023-24 season, CASI will be monitoring code usage closely to ensure that they are being used for the intended purpose(s) and are being distributed by snow school management to working instructors only. In the event you run out of codes, please contact us to arrange for a new batch, subject to code availability.

Note: In the event of suspected abuse of code distribution, CASI reserves the right to cancel any remaining codes already distributed.

2) Member Training Sessions

CASI currently offers a Member Session program to all current members, which consists of access to one free training session each season, with subsidized pricing on subsequent sessions or training days.

To help provide training opportunities to your snowboard instructors, our Member Session program can be customized for your snow school, with a private registration link and training topics catered to your team.

The same program requirements will apply to instructors taking private training days – the first training day is free, and subsequent days are charged at a rate of $92.25 per day.

Take advantage of this amazing opportunity to provide a training day for your snowboard instructors with one of CASI’s top trainers!

How does it work?

Contact your Regional Coordinator to schedule a Member Session for your staff, and to discuss the training topic(s). Instructors will be required to pre-register for the session (using the provided private link and access code). If it’s the instructor’s first member session day of the season, the cost will be $0. If they have already participated in a session, the normal cost will apply.
